In construction, mining, and similar engineering operations, Shanmon backhoe loaders are vital equipment. To boost productivity and reduce costs, mechanical quick couplers for backhoe loaders have emerged. Backhoe quick couplers enable operators to rapidly switch attachments—such as breakers, grapples, or buckets—within minutes, adapting to diverse job requirements.
Attachment Replacement Steps
1. Removing the Current Attachment
Position the backhoe loader’s existing attachment appropriately. Remove backhoe quick coupler’s lock pins, activate the cylinder lock switch, and trigger the coupler’s unlocking function. Loosen the coupler bolts to release the backhoe quick coupler from the current attachment.
2. Installing the New Attachment
Move the new attachment under the quick coupler and align its connectors with the coupler’s locking mechanism. Tighten the coupler bolts to secure the attachment. Deactivate the cylinder lock switch and reinsert the lock pins. Monitor the locking process to ensure a stable connection.
3. Inspection and Testing
Once installation is complete, recheck all connections for tightness and stability. Start the Shanmon backhoe loader and test the new attachment in idle mode – verifying functions such as bucket digging, material release, or crusher impact frequency. If problems occur, stop, adjust and retest immediately until performance is up to par.
